On Thursday, September 12th in the evening, the yoga presenter was named Dorothy "Narayani" Wilkins hosted a wonderful Deaf Health Talk on Hatha Yoga. She provided her brief personal experience, the different fields of yoga, and the benefits of some different poses. She wanted to help them get a better understanding of yoga. Thanks to her, yogis left the workshop more informed and relaxed. Namaste!

Deaf Health Talks (in ASL)
On Thursday, June 13th in the evening, Dr. Donna Guardino and Lori DeWindt, MA hosted a Deaf Health Talk on Stress and Anxiety! They helped the attendees with a better understanding of how stress actually affects the body (beyond the brain!) and what to do about it.
On Thursday evening on May 9th, the event was on addiction and presented by Keven Poore from RIT Substance and Alcohol Intervention Services for the Deaf (SAISD) and Dr. Aaron Fields. They discussed about the prescription pills, alcohol, and other drugs. Lastly, they provided an opioid overdose prevention training at Strong Recovery.
