Finger Lakes Deaf Health Fair
September 24, 2016, Finger Lakes Deaf Health Fair was returned to the back again at the same location as the last Deaf Health Fair event. Presentations and health topics were chosen from the community’s input to their interests.
Finger Lakes Deaf Health Fair
April 26, 2014, Finger Lakes Deaf Health Fair returned. This year the event was held at Seton Catholic School at Our Lady of Lourdes. The change in venue was necessitated due the overwhelming success and attendance from the previous year. The attendance was overwhelming. More individuals than the previous year participated. All were thrilled with the opportunity to learn more about health topics and updates provided in ASL. Exhibitors provided pamphlets, promotional items, and brochures to attendees to take home. Prior to their departure, attendees were asked to provide suggestions of health topics they thought interesting. This equipped PDH with the information needed to focus the Deaf Health Talks on topics the community wanted.
